How can Telcel meet my wireless needs?
Telcel is pay-as-you-go, with no bills, coverage charges, or activation fees. Telcel also provides voicemail, caller ID, and call waiting at no additional cost.
Telcel's Unlimited International service plans offer you between 7 to 30 days of unlimited service for calls to landlines and mobile phones, text/multimedia messages, mobile internet access, and 411 calls within the US. These plans also offer mobile Internet access, calls to mobile phones in Mexico, China, India and Canada as well as to 1,000 international landline destinations. Roaming in Mexico is also available with the Extended Nation plans. You can call up to 15 unique international phone numbers during the service days of your plan.
How does my Telcel phone differ from a landline phone?
Your Telcel phone is a wireless mobile telephone; therefore, it does not work exactly the same as your landline telephone, and you may have an occasional service interruption. Your phone will work well in town, but in some rural areas you may have an occasional service problem. There are locations in the U.S. that do not have wireless coverage and the quality of wireless service may be affected by capacity limitations, geographic, topographical and atmospheric conditions.

With Telcel, there are no long-term contracts that commit you to a specified length of service.

How do I receive communications from Telcel?
When you set up your account on our website, you were asked to set up an email address. We will use this email address to contact you.
If you did not provide us an email address, we will only be able to send you a text. Please keep in mind that some information is not easily relayed by text so an email is the easiest way we have of communicating critical information such as service updates that apply directly to you.
