Transfer Number - Phone Upgrades

What is a phone upgrade, how do I upgrade, and how long will it take?
An upgrade is when you wish to transfer your phone number and minutes from one Telcel phone to another. To upgrade, please go to www.us.telcel.com/Activate and select the radio button "Activate or reactivate my phone with a number transferred from another Telcel phone" and click on "Continue," then please sign in to your account to complete this process. The transfer typically takes a few hours to complete, but could take as long as 2 business days or longer for landlines.
I upgraded to a new Telcel phone, how do I transfer my Service Plan?
Upon completing the upgrade, any balance on your OLD/CURRENT Telcel phone will be removed and transferred automatically to your NEW Telcel phone.
If I am upgrading to a new Telcel phone, can I transfer my current Service Plan and phone number?
Yes, upon completing the upgrade, any balance on your OLD/CURRENT Telcel phone will be removed and transferred automatically to your NEW Telcel phone.
If I upgrade to a new Telcel phone, will my Service End Date change?
Yes, upon completing the upgrade, any balance on your OLD/CURRENT Telcel phone will be removed and transferred automatically to your NEW Telcel phone, including your Service End Date on your OLD/CURRENT Telcel.
